About SASD Living
Self-Assured and Self-Disciplined (SASD, pronounced “sassed”) is the actualization of the belief that we are fundamentally wholesome and capable of living flourishing lives. With these characteristics, we unlock the power to learn anything, develop any skill we desire, and change our lives however we choose. This process is equally effective in the most mundane sense of being better at X, as well as in the most exalted sense of self-transcendence and everything in between.
We cultivate these characteristics in a cyclical process that utilizes meditation and mindfulness practices from various pedagogical, philosophical, developmental, physical/somatic, mystical, and spiritual traditions. This program aims to provide the essential structure of the cycle and basic toolkits for each stage.

The “SASD cycle” can be applied in a fractal fashion, meaning that you can iterate many times through “micro” cycles in service to one “macro” cycle. You may also have different aspects of life in various stages of the process, iterating their “micro” and “macro” phases at different rates. The main point is to remember that this process is fractal and cyclical, not linear.
