Holiday Gathering

The Holiday Season is upon us. Lately, it seems like just about everyone I talk to has mixed feelings about this time of year. No matter how we feel about them, we can all agree that it’s a lot – and it’s a beautiful time of year to slow down, reflect, and connect.

YourTurn would like to invite you to do just that with us on Sunday, December 3rd, from 1:00 – 2:30 PM Eastern time. During this 90-minutes we will:

• Open space for solidarity and community.
• Practice a guided meditation on receiving life. (More below)
• Break-out into small groups to share our holiday plans and receive support if necessary.
• Close with group connection to support us on our way.

The Gift of Receiving

Learning to experience life as a recipient instead of a taker is at the core of wisdom traditions worldwide. Flipping our perspective on its head, from taking to receiving, opens us up to the richness of life. Isn’t this what the holiday season is truly about? So, let’s open up to receiving the ease, stress, joy, and distress. It may be mind-bending at first, and that’s why Dan will lead us in practice and Q&A to really wrap our heads around what it means to receive the mystery of life.
