Module 1: Foundations

CreativeSource

A step-by-step meditation teaching guiding practitioners from their first meditation and basic concentration to deep absorption, energetic awakening, and advanced states. The instructions integrate modern insights into consciousness with ancient contemplative practices for maximum efficacy. CreativeSource provides the foundational experience for all CoreTraining work.

Breath Texture

Breath Texture refines awareness of how breath carries distinct qualities—weight, speed, depth—revealing the interplay between physiological state and perception. Practitioners cultivate a direct, embodied sense of presence and internal alignment by attuning to these textures.

Module 2: Thoughts

Deconstructing Impulses

This practice sensitizes awareness to the thought-impulse-action triad, revealing how unconscious urges shape behavior. Practitioners reclaim choice and refine their relationship to action by observing impulses without suppression or indulgence.

Choosing Trailheads

A method for identifying the critical moments in one’s experience, enabling conscious selection of where to direct attention to take intentional actions. This practice strengthens intentionality by weakening pre-existing patterns of behavior.

Module 3: Emotions

Ionizing the Field

A practice of investigating the emotion-preference-behavior triad through direct, embodied awareness. This training in embodied, emotional immediacy enables practitioners to retrain their emotional system according to their most mature and intentional perspectives.

Free Presence

A method of moment-to-moment liberation from automatic patterns, enabling engagement with experience from clarity rather than conditioned momentum. Our increased capacity and understanding of emotion reduce the pressure our preferences generate to act, cultivating fluidity, responsiveness, and genuine presence.

Module 4: Sensations

Reconstructing “I”

An investigative practice that reveals how sensations are given meaning and how our relationship with them constructs a sense of self, allowing practitioners to identify habitual identities and loosen their grip. By seeing the mechanics of self-construction, greater freedom in shaping experience emerges.

Having deconstructed the conditioned self, this practice intentionally reshapes identity in alignment with chosen values, aspirations, and deeper awareness. It integrates visualization, somatic shifts, and cognitive reframing to embody an empowered and self-authored ‘I.’

Choosing “I”

A practice period dedicated to challenging our meaning-making in real-time, such that we increasingly live from our chosen identity, not a conditioned one.

Module 5: Witnessing

Perfect Mirror Meditation

A contemplative practice of non-distorted self-reflection, training the mind to perceive experience without attachment, aversion, or projection. By refining this clarity, practitioners gain insight into who they are beyond habitual identity structures and gain access to Witnessing Intelligence.

By maintaining the perspective of Witnessing Intelligence in daily activity, practitioners gain clarity, detachment, self-referencing authority, and a strategic understanding of how to engage with life’s unfolding dynamics.

Module 6: Non-Dual

A practice for recognizing how self and world arise together, revealing the interplay of perception, attention, and reality construction. Practitioners cultivate a non-dual perspective and dynamic presence by witnessing the moment where subject and object emerge.


Receiving


Receiving refines the ability to engage with life’s experiences as intentional gifts, rather than passive occurrences. Practitioners learn to filter, integrate, or set aside incoming perceptions with discernment, creating greater agency over their World.

CoreTraining is a set of practices that trains all the necessary skills of meditative living. Each time we go through the process, we get more out of it and can apply it to new or more difficult areas of our lives.

There are six modules, each containing two practices: one seated meditation to focus on the skill and one in-life mindfulness exercise to make it real. The practices are self-contained for you to use as needed. Details on each module are above.

CoreTraining is for anyone interested in meditative living. These practices will support your journey whether you’re just exploring if meditative living is right for you or have decades of experience in multiple meditative traditions.

The CoreTraining is specifically designed to keep us moving on an upward spiral toward of growth, development, and self-transformation.

Many believe meditative living is just “going with the flow.” That’s true, and it’s not. “The flow” is only available to us when we are not constricted and confined by confused perspectives – like identification with thought. You already have a sense of this if you have experienced flow states in certain activities. Maintaining a flow state throughout daily life requires a period of significant effort at deconstructing what “interrupts” the flow state. One doesn’t go from the life that drove one to meditative living to being in a flow state every day without disciplined effort.

CoreTraining is delivered through an evergreen online program that receives regular updates.

Each module delivers clear and concise instructions for you to follow at your own pace and in your own way.
