Terms & Guidelines

Our community guidelines are simple:

  1. THINK before you speak.
    • Is this timely?
    • Is this helpful?
    • Is this inspiring?
    • Is this necessary?
    • Is this kind?
  2. All are welcome.
    • We get to practice how to be in conscious relationships here, facing our own judgments, intolerances, and biases.
    • General rule: If you’ve got a problem, it’s your problem. Ask for support from your community to facilitate growth and healing.
  3. When we speak it’s in draft form, it’s OK to be imperfect
  4. Use I-statements
  5. Do not try to fix other people.
  6. Only give advice with consent.
  7. Ask for consent.

We will communicate to the community at large as needed and regularly during programs. If you ever wish not to receive email communications from us, please utilize the unsubscribe feature at the bottom of each e-mail. Feel free to email connect@yourturnml.com if you require any assistance in this area.

You may cancel and reschedule up to 24 hours before your session. After 24 hours there will be no refunds without a written request and explanation for the cancellation.

Memberships will remain active for the month they are purchased. You may cancel your membership at any time before your next automatic payment via your user the Membership tab in your account.

Self-guided training program refunds are available within 72 hours of purchase. Please email your refund request to connect@yourturnml.com.

Training programs with a cohort or live component offer refunds at a pro-rated rate based on the following formula.
Total Cost – ((Cost per Session * Sessions Attended) + $15 administrative fee)
— Note: For Stand Alone CoreTraining purchases the formula is: Total Cost – ((Cost per Week * Weeks Started) + $15 administrative fee)
If a refund is requested, you will lose access to any associated forums or online platforms associated with the training program.

No refunds are offered for tarot readings. If the reading and interpretation requires clarification or you do not feel that it offers any insight into your question, please respond to the reading with your concern. Dan will provide what clarification he can, and if necessary, up to one (1) “redo” of the reading at no charge.

We are here to help and offer our support in good faith that every attempt will be made to resolve any conflicts through transparent, compassionate communication.

To this end, we all take responsibility for our own choices and actions, indemnifying and holding each other harmless of liability. To participate in any YourTurn Meditative Living offering is to waive the right to seek legal damages for whatever (unlikely) harm may be caused in either direction.

We regularly record content where Dan is teaching for a variety of reasons. Our commitment is to use that content ethically. The most common use cases are:

  • Recording teacher’s talks for future dissemination.
  • Recording live sessions of YourTurn programming on behalf of absent participants. These recordings will only be available to YourTurn members eligible to participate in the event. Except where the teacher is the only audio/video or a participant has consented to sharing their dialogue, in which case that excerpt may be disseminated more broadly.

Should you participate in any in-person event, you take full responsibility for yourself, indemnifying and holding harmless, YourTurn Meditative Living, LLC, including any of its staff, associates, and ownership of any personal injury, mental or physical, sustained during participation. YourTurn’s philosophy of radical responsibility includes us, too. If something should happen that properly mediated conversation determines requires restitution, we will be glad to offer it.

We do our best to ensure the structures of our website and communications possess integrity concerning confidentiality and security.

We will not sell or distribute contact or identifying information to third parties.

It is important to us that our community is a safe space to be authentic, share, connect, and grow. To this end, we also strongly encourage all participants not to speak of other’s business and treat all conversations, whether in live groups, in the forums, or otherwise, as confidential to the participants present at the time.

This is also the internet; please use common sense. If you have something you want to keep private, don’t share it.

Ongoing mentorship, Coaching Calls & Tarot Readings are intended to support you on your life journey. You agree that you are the ultimate arbiter of your life. Whatever direction, practices, advice, instruction, education, or other occurrences take place during any YourTurn offering are to be considered suggestions offered in good faith. It is up to you to use your discernment as to their value, apply what you learn judiciously, and transparently communicate with YourTurn Meditative Living regarding any unwanted impacts so we may offer the appropriate support and direction.
